Deepika confesses she was asked to undergo plastic surgery
Bajirao Mastani toughest film of my career: Deepika Padukone
Actress Deepika Padukone, who earlier missed out on an opportunity to work in Fast and Furious 7, says she is now ready to work in Hollywood films.
“I couldn’t do Fast and Furious 7 because I was busy promoting Ram Leela. I’m ready to explore opportunities in Hollywood and if something interesting comes along, I don’t mind taking it up,” Deepika said on Saturday at the ongoing 17th Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.
Speaking about her successful journey in Bollywood, the Chennai Express star said that actors are subject to ‘shelf life’ in India. ”In Hollywood, there’s no such thing as that. Time has changed and age really concerns neither actors nor audiences,” she said
Deepika also said that success has not changed her as a person. ”I’m still the same person I was when I started acting. Nothing about me has changed. I still do dishes at home and my parents continue to support me,” she added.
The reigning queen of Bollywood will next be seen in Tamasha with former love interest Ranbir Kapoor and in Bajirao Mastani with current beau Ranveer Singh.
