The Civil Aviation Ministry today announced extension of deadline for receiving stakeholder response on the draft policy to November 30, 2015 from November 21, 2015.
"The Ministry of Civil Aviation has extended the last date for receiving response from stakeholders on the draft Civil Aviation Policy to the 30th of November 2015. The earlier deadline for the same was 21st of November 2015," said a government release.
The ministry, however, rejected a plea by the Federation of Indian Airlines (FIA) to extend the deadline till December 15, 2015.
The revised draft Civil Aviation Policy was unveiled on October 30 by Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju to provide a conducive environment and a level playing field to all stakeholders.
