Three new flights from Guwahati


One of the most successful airlines in India, Spicejet has announced three new flights from Guwahati:

Guwahati-Patna-Guwahati - Non Stop from October 10th. Daily
Guwahati-Hyderabad-Guwahati - Non Stop from October 10th. Daily
Guwahati-Pakyong-Guwahati  - Non Stop from October 16th. Daily

The chief marketing officer of SpiceJet, Debojo Maharshi handed over the first ticket and boarding pass to the chief minister marking the formal announcement of the launch of the new flight services.

The chief minister Sonowal has appreciated SpiceJet's initiative of giving a boost to air connectivity in regional routes from Assam. Sonowal termed the development as a golden opportunity for the state and that the new flights would not only boost trade, education and health, but would also facilitate higher footfall of tourists from other states to Assam.

SpiceJet has also announced new direct flights on domestic and international routes. The new flights will run between Mumbai and Kanpur, Delhi and Kishangarh, Hyderabad and Bangkok, Amritsar and Bangkok, Delhi and Shirdi, Kolkata and Pakyong, Guwahati and Pakyong, Kolkata and Varanasi and Mumbai and Jaisalmer.
